AIRDRIVE DESIGN: a new quality standard.
Rotor and bow of the new Fuego are AIRDRIVE type: totally new and designed to minimize rotational inertia. Thanks to the new structure, the rotor (made of ZAION V, a special carbon composite) is now 40% lighter but even stronger. This results in an even smoother rotation, with reduced inertia and capable of giving more control to the movement of the bait during retrieval.
The bow also is now designed to improve anti-tangle performance: tangles are minimized, thanks to the shape of the bow that allows the line to slip and return to the correct position in the blink of an eye. A feature also further facilitated by the new Twist Buster 3 thread guide roller, which has an additional groove that can better hold the thread in place.
Magsealed technology
A special magnetized oil membrane, a technology exclusive to Daiwa, protects the internal mechanics, reducing the penetration of dirt and saltiness inside the body. Effective protection to improve reel durability, especially for those fishing in marine environments.
New ATD drag – L
The new Fuego is equipped with Automatic Tournament Drag Type – L, a new generation clutch that is even more progressive and precise than in the past.
The wide range of sizes (1000 to 6000), together with robustness, compactness and saltwater resistance make the Fuego the ideal reel for a wide variety of fishing techniques, including medium-heavy saltwater fishing.
